Adam moved to the city for his nursing internship. Between long hospital shifts, trouble with the shady people he owes money to, and lonely nights, he’s barely keeping up with life.

Rian is trying to hold his own together: a sister in hospital, a struggling judo dojo, and no clear idea what comes next.

Beneath the laundromat’s fluorescent lights, late-night conversations over folded laundry grow into friendship... and maybe something more.

Adam knows who he is. Rian is only beginning to ask himself.

LOADS is a story of family, friendship, hardship, the weight of trying to face life alone, and of finding family in places you least expect.
